Falcon Windows Ipswich Covid-19 Policy
Dear Customer,
Following the relaxing of all the Government’s Covid restrictions in England from 19th July 2021 and keeping in mind the ongoing issues the world faces with this virus, we would like to clarify the situation with Falcon Windows trading.
Falcon Windows is now trading as we did pre-pandemic, but following Covid secure precautions.
We will be continuing to follow our risk assessment specific to Covid-19 and implement all additional Health & Safety measures, to ensure that both the health and safety of our staff and customers continue to be prioritised during this time.
We are pleased to say that we have satisfied the Government’s criteria for being a ‘Covid-19 Secure’ company.
From July 19th 2021, our showroom & office will be OPEN to the public, but on an appointment only basis. This allows us to sanitise and ventilate the showroom between each visit.
All Installations will go ahead as planned. Unfortunately, due to staff having to self-isolate, installations and appointments may be affected from time to time.
If you have any concerns, please do not hesitate contacting us.
Thank you,
The Directors & Management Team at Falcon Windows
About our 'COVID-19 Secure' Status
The Government has produced a series of documents that explain how companies can responsibly carry on their business during this time including working in other people's homes. These can be found here >>

If you have a contract with us
We will be in touch to arrange an installation date with you. We will be issuing all customers with information specific to Covid-19 and installations being carried out prior to their installation.
If you require an appointment
We are booking appointments. Again, information relevant to this situation will be issued prior to the appointment taking place.
Our Ipswich office and showroom are open, but an appointment is required for all showroom visits.
Please bear with us during this time as reduced staff levels, along with re-organising months of work, may cause a delay in us responding to customers, but we will endeavour to contact you as soon as we can.
Being a long established, family-run business we are a stable company that have every intention of surviving these testing times and being here for many years to come. We would like to assure you that we will continually adapt to the challenges in the coming weeks and maintain business as usual to our best efforts.
Supply chain issues
Our industry has met with several major disruptions to the UK supply chain in 2021. Early this year there were delays in traffic through the Suez Canal. Staff in factories are regularly being told to self-isolate, with two major glass factories in Europe experiencing shut downs. There has also been unprecedented demand in the UK for building products. All in all, there has been a perfect storm brewing in the industry for a number of weeks now.
Whilst we will always endeavour to carry out your installation within the proposed timescale given when you place an order, we cannot unfortunately guarantee this at present.
The situation is changing day by day with suppliers and every best effort is being made by them to fulfil orders on time. However, there may be times where unforeseen delays can arise at the moment. Thank you for your understanding.
And finally - a brief caveat - potential effect of hand sanitiser fluid on coloured composite doors
Using hand santisers is a recommended and accepted practice during this time. We would however urge our customers against using hand sanitiser fluid as a disinfecting agent directly onto door handles,as spraying or applying may risk excess fluid damaging the colour slabs particularly on PVCu composite doors. We suggest that soapy water may be an alternative to avoid any potential long-term damage to your door.
If you have any concerns regarding any of the information above, please do not hesitate contacting us.
Thank you,
The Directors & Management Team at Falcon Windows Ipswich
