A venue almost within striking distance of the Falcon Windows Ipswich HQ saw Falcon Windows proudly team up with Ipswich Valley Rangers Football Club recently to support its annual Awards Day.

As specialist installers of quality windows, doors and conservatories, we at Falcon Windows Ipswich know that expertise is only won through dedication, experience and attention to detail. Our winning home side has been 40 years in the making and there’s nothing more satisfying than coaching new apprentice fitters through their training and seeing them excel to reach the top of their game.
When local youth and adult club, Ipswich Valley Rangers FC, were looking for sponsors to support their annual celebration event this year, it seemed only natural for Falcon to fly in and help … what is they say about birds of a feather?
Celebrating a job well done
Thriving Ipswich Valley Rangers Football Club has an impressive network of coaches supporting adults and young players from the grass roots up towards engagement in the Suffolk Football League. Home turf is Westbourne School - just a short distance as the crow (or falcon!) flies from the our Ipswich windows, doors and conservatories showroom in Hadleigh Road.
The mixed football club’s family Presentation Day event, attracted a great local crowd who were there to celebrate the hard work and achievements of both youth and adult players. There were fun activities lined up too for all to enjoy, including a range of bouncy castles to ensure that even the little ones had a jolly, active time outdoors.
The honour of handing over the 18 or so trophies with a warm handshake to the lucky recipients went to Falcon Windows Installation Manager, John Garrard.
Rewarding young talent
“Helping people climb up the league table is very much at the heart of what Falcon is all about." says John, "so, it was a real pleasure to be able to show our appreciation and support in this small way – not just to all the players and their families, but to the coaches who give their time so freely to help support individuals and bring together the community through the Club’s activities. This is a celebration of life skills, team work and personal achievement all rolled into one. “
And no one recognises the value of team work more than John: “At Falcon Windows, we recognise that crafting a top team, keeping them on side and putting them through their paces means everything. It’s through such tactics that in business, we not only deliver the best service, but feel good in the knowledge that we’re making a positive difference to our customers’ lives as well as doing our bit to give double glazing a better name!”
Who knows, perhaps Falcon Windows will welcome some of the younger players as apprentices in the windows industry in years to come?
